It’s been a little while, but we’re back. While this blog has been quiet, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes. Last year we made a big decision: to transform our entire production chain from Asia to Europe.
This was no small task. It meant putting our full focus into steering every part of Ui Swim to the direction we believe in: timeless design, sustainable methods, and a proud Nordic quality standard. Today, we’re proud to say: we did it.
Who We Are at Ui Swim
Ui Swim is built by us, Iida and Henri, two creative idiots (as we like to call ourselves) who once thought running a swimwear brand would be a nice creative outlet. Alongside all the fun, the journey has brought its challenges too. And we love it.
Iida is a fashion designer. Henri is a professional photographer. Together, our shared vision shapes Ui Swim at its core: two creative minds combining timeless design with visual storytelling, all rooted in Nordic simplicity and resilience.
What Drives Us Forward
From the very beginning, the feedback we’ve received has been incredible. It confirmed what we believed from day one: that we’ve created something truly different in swimwear.
Our mission is clear: to design swimwear that is timeless, long-lasting, and infused with Nordic design expertise and Finnish sisu. Swimwear that makes people feel not just good, but confident and beautiful.

One of our core beliefs is that swimwear isn’t only for summer. Here in Finland, swimming season lasts all year round. From diving into the midnight sun to plunging into icy winter waters, our swimsuits are designed to endure it all.
