When we first set our sights on bringing Ui Swim’s swimwear production closer to home, Riga quickly felt like the right place. Today, we’re proud to share that all new Ui Swim pieces are now made in Latvia, with a production partner who truly shares our values.

This move marks a milestone for us. It means shorter distances, better oversight, and the ability to ensure every swimsuit lives up to the Nordic quality standard we’ve promised from the start.

Why Riga?

Riga has a long history of skilled craftsmanship in textiles and apparel. When working side by side with our Baltic partners, we’ve found not only top-tier technical knowledge, but also shared values: respect for materials, precision in production, and a genuine care for the outcome.

The proximity matters, too. From Helsinki, Riga is just a short flight or ferry ride away. This gives us the freedom to be strongly involved in every stage of production. It allows us to keep the process personal, transparent, and in line with what we believe in.
